Goodwood House combines the glamour of a great English country house with the warmth of a family home. It also provides a dramatic setting for one of the most significant private art collections in the country.
After a guided tour of the House, visitors can enjoy a splendid Afternoon Tea in the Ballroom, made using estate-reared, organic produce from Goodwood Home Farm.

Join us for a delicious Afternoon Tea in the stunning Ballroom at Goodwood House and enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade fruit scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, plus the pastry chef's selection of the day comprising of assorted cakes and pastries.
We also have a range of different teas for you to try or if you’d rather have something different, there are other beverages including Goodwood Gin, Goodwood Beer, Champagne, Prosecco and soft drinks.
2024: HerStory: Women of Goodwood
For over 300 years, women have been central to Goodwood's history. HerStory: Women of Goodwood places a spotlight on the women connected with Goodwood and the Gordon Lennox family, whose stories tell of passion, power, patronage, society, family, charitable work, and sporting interests. Exhibition highlights include dresses loaned by the Fashion Museum and artworks by Angelica Kauffman and Sir Joshua Reynolds.
The Exhibition can be seen on Goodwood House Open Days between May and October.

Don't just take our word for it...
We were given a tour of Goodwood House and a tea as a gift. What a lovely present. The tour of House was very interesting and informative followed by an amazing tea, easily equalling tea at the Ritz.
What a fabulous house with such an interesting history set in beautiful grounds. The tea was absolutely tops. Courteous staff and the most amazingly delicious food.
The highlight was of course the Afternoon Tea in the magnificent Ballroom. We all felt rather grand. Adding to our joy was the treat of champagne for myself and my Mum. Thank you very much - Mum was beaming from ear to ear.
Can only say ""wow"". I have been for tea at the Ritz and other hotels, but this beat them all.
