Goodwood House
&width=75&fastscale=false)
The home of the Duke and Duchess of Richmond and Gordon combines the glamour of a great English country house with the warmth of a family home. It also provides a dramatic setting for one of the most significant private art collections in the country. The State Apartments, restored to their full Regency splendour, reflect the exoticism and opulence of this period.
2024: HerStory: Women of Goodwood
For over 300 years, women have been central to Goodwood's history. HerStory: Women of Goodwood places a spotlight on the women connected with Goodwood and the Gordon Lennox family, whose stories tell of passion, power, patronage, society, family, charitable work, and sporting interests. Exhibition highlights include dresses loaned by the Fashion Museum and artworks by Angelica Kauffman and Sir Joshua Reynolds.
The Exhibition can be seen on Goodwood House Open Days between May and October.

Afternoon Tea at Goodwood House
What could be more enjoyable than the ritual of afternoon tea? Following a guided tour of the State Apartments in Goodwood House, enjoy an array of sandwiches, cakes, pastries and traditional English scones in the magnificent Ballroom.
The afternoon tea in the glorious surroundings of the Ballroom was ‘five star’, beautifully and graciously served. We thought it was every bit as good as The Ritz!
