GRRC Go Karting

Join us at Daytona Sandown Park on Friday 2 August 2024 for another evening endurance race meeting. Whether you are returning to defend your honour or entering a new team, our sunset go-karting evening is an exciting and exhilarating experience.

You’ll have time to get acquainted with your kart and talk team strategy, before heading in to an endurance race. When you’re not on track, enjoy a delicious buffet supper. There will, of course, be prizes for the winning team, so get your friends together and enter your team now. If you are entering solo, we'll match you up with team-mates!

This event is open to GRRC membership and Fellowship.

Example itinerary for the evening (this is a guide only and may change):

4pm to 4.45pm: Arrive at Daytona Sandown Park to sign on and gear up!

4.30pm to 5.30pm: Race briefing

5.30pm to 6.10pm: Practice

6.20pm to 8.20pm:Two hour endurance race begins, buffet served in cafe

8.30pm: Chequered flag, followed by prize giving

8.45pm: Guests depart

Please note all timings are subject to change.

A buffet will be served during the race, so your whole team can grab a bite to eat when they aren’t on track.

Teams:

You can enter up to a team of four people. If you enter less than four people then we may pair you with others to make up a team of four.

Drivers:

Drivers must be a minimum age of 16 years and a minimum of 145cm tall to participate.
