The Duke of Richmond set up the GRRC Membership over twenty years ago for those who want to be at the heart of Goodwood’s world leading motorsport events. Since then, demand to be part of the GRRC has become so strong that the waiting list to become a member was much bigger than the Club itself, and the waiting time was around 7 years - and growing all the time.
The Fellowship was created to give future full members a selection of benefits, to provide an affordable way for younger people to enjoy what the Club has to offer, and to offer those who aren’t able to travel to Goodwood regularly a way of enjoying our event coverage and community feel.
Yes, all members and those part of the Fellowship, receive a 10% discount on all Goodwood and GRRC merchandise, this can be redeemed purchasing items online, by telephone or in person. If purchasing online or by telephone, please use the discount code which is published each month in our digital newsletters.
Goodwood Road and Racing will be your new home. Once you are logged in, you will have exclusive access to over 25 years' worth of archive event footage, as well as the wide range of excellent articles, reviews, documentaries, interviews and race highlights that are produced by the Goodwood motorsport team.

Of course, but not straight away. When your membership comes up for renewal, you simply need to let the Club know you would like to relinquish your membership and purchase Fellowship instead. Please note that if at any time you would like to become a full member again, you will first need to activate your member-in-waiting status and then wait for a place to become available.
You can pay your membership fees in a number of ways. By far the simplest is by direct debit (see below) or online at https://www.goodwood.com/motorsport/grrc-membership/grrc-renewals/.
You can renew over the phone with the GRRC Team on +44 (0)1243 755057 or with our Customer Sales team on +44 (0) 1243 755055.
Yes. Simply complete a Direct Debit form before returning to the Club at the below address by the specified date and the direct debit will be set up. The payment for this will be requested from your bank on or around 31 December each year.
Please note any new Direct Debit mandate forms need to be returned to the Club no later than Friday 25 November to ensure we process in time for 31 December.
Absolutely, there is no age limit on joining the GRRC. On entry (via the normal Fellowship and member in waiting route) you will become a junior member until the age of 22 where you will automatically be upgraded to our adult membership type (in the membership year following your 22nd birthday).
Family membership doubles some of the benefits you receive as an adult member as follows:
- 25% discount on the first 4 general entry and grandstand tickets at the Festival of Speed and Revival
- Access for 4 people to our member-only grandstands at headline events
- 4 Paddock passes for Revival
- Entry for 4 people (one guest per badgeholder) into our members' enclosures at the Festival of Speed and Revival
- The ability to purchase 8 tickets for our upgraded enclosures at the Festival of Speed and Revival
- 2 GRRC member windscreen stickers allowing two cars access to forward parking at our headline events
If you wish to cancel your membership please do so in writing to grrc@goodwood.com and we will ensure that your membership is not renewed for the following year. If resigning your membership part way through the year, your membership will continue until the membership year end date of 31 December and if you change your mind about cancelling before this date, you will not lose your place in the Club. If, however, you decide after this date you wish to re-join the GRRC, you first need to become a Fellow and Member in Waiting and then once you reach the top of the wait list we will invite you to join the GRRC again.

Fellowship
The Goodwood Road Racing Club, launched in 1998 by The Duke of Richmond, is central to the world of motorsport at Goodwood. Membership is capped, so there are two levels: full membership and Fellowship. Membership offers many exclusive benefits, access and events; however the Fellowship gives access to a number of selected benefits whilst waiting for full membership.
The Duke of Richmond set up the GRRC over twenty years ago for those who want to be at the heart of Goodwood’s world leading motorsport events. Since then, demand to be part of the GRRC has become so strong that the waiting list to become a member is now much bigger than the Club itself, and the waiting time is currently around 5 years. Additionally, we have recognised that membership is not always affordable for younger people, and can be difficult to get the most value from if you’re not able to travel to Goodwood and enjoy the events regularly.
- Annual pack including a yearly GRRC Fellowship pin badge and windscreen sticker.
- Ability to buy tickets to the GRRC-only Members’ Meeting.
- 10% discount on two admission tickets to both the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
- Ability to buy tickets to the Festival of Speed and Revival one week ahead of the public.
- Entry for the Fellowship badge holder plus guest to exclusive GRRC-only enclosures at both the Festival of Speed and Revival.
- Access to the Revival main site each day one hour ahead of the public.
- Discounts on all Goodwood merchandise.
- Exclusive money-can’t-buy competitions.
- Should you wish to upgrade to full membership, Fellowship allows you to become a ‘Member-in-Waiting’ for full GRRC Membership when a space becomes available, by opting-in free of charge.
- Access to the private Fellowship Facebook group.
- Exclusive calendar of events throughout the year, including go karting, GRRC-only Breakfast Club, the summer ball, 'An Evening With' reception at the Festival of Speed and the Christmas ball.
- Two visits per year for you and your guests to The Kennels, Goodwood's sporting member clubhouse.
Simply log in to your ‘My Goodwood’ account, or create one here and visit the GRRC area to purchase your Fellowship. It is priced at £85 per year on a rolling 12-month basis; you are able to pay by debit or credit card or with a Goodwood gift card. Your Fellowship is an ongoing GRRC subscription and by purchasing it you authorise the GRRC to debit the annual Fellowship price from your account every 12 months, until you cancel your subscription.
The Fellowship has been introduced to provide benefits for those waiting to become a member, as well as offering relevant benefits to the wider motorsport community that may not be able to travel to Goodwood and enjoy the membership benefits regularly. As such, those part of the Fellowship will enjoy a selected range of benefits, but there are some (such as paddock access at Goodwood Revival) that are solely for members.
You must become part of the Fellowship first. Once you’ve purchased your Fellowship you will be sent an email reminder to activate your free-of-charge ‘Member-in-Waiting’ status. As always, spaces in the GRRC membership are limited and we cannot say how long you will have to wait, but we hope you will appreciate these new benefits in the meantime.
When a space becomes available and you’re invited to the Membership, the money you have paid for your time as part of the Fellowship will be deducted from the Joining Fee accordingly. If you wish, you can decide to decline the invitation for membership and remain in the Fellowship, but you will lose your place within the ‘Member-in-Waiting’ line.
Yes! As well as access to our online, digital archive, with over 25 years' of on-track footage, you'll receive our digital and printed newsletters as well as accessing the private Fellowship Facebook group. Even if you only come to one of our headline events each year, you'll appreciate the ticket discount and exclusive enclosures as well as discounts on merchandise.
Yes. Being a part of the Goodwood Road Racing Club is the only way to buy tickets to the GRRC-only Members’ Meeting.
Those in the Fellowship will also be able to buy tickets for the Festival of Speed and Revival ahead of them going on public sale, as well as receiving a 10% discount on their first two tickets to both events. The Fellowship can also access exclusive, GRRC-only enclosures at both the Festival of Speed and Revival.
However, the benefits that GRRC members enjoy at these events (such as forward parking and access to the paddocks at the Revival) will still be preserved for members.
You and your guests can visit The Kennels twice per year; just give your membership number when making your booking, or when entering The Kennels.
You can see The Kennels' Calendar of Events here.
Please complete the ‘contact us’ form on the Fellowship homepage or by clicking here and we will respond to you as quickly as possible. Alternatively you may contact fellowship@goodwood.com and someone from the Club will respond to you.
