80 years since D-Day

To commemorate 80 years since D-Day, we are bringing together a special gathering of military vehicles this September.

Covering land, air and sea (yes, you read that correctly), an assortment of over 150 vehicles and machines will take to the track on Sunday to form a commemorative parade. All vehicles will be available to view across the entire weekend at locations around the Motor Circuit.

The cutest race

Undoubtedly the cutest race of the weekend (and perhaps in the whole of motorsport!), the Settrington Cup has been a fixture of the Revival since 2012. More than 50 children will race down Goodwood's iconic start/finish straight in pint-sized Austin J40 pedal cars. With eternal glory awaiting the victor, emotions are sure to run high… and that's just the parents!

Magnificent historic aircraft

The day starts with momentous dawn fly past of vintage aircraft in the skies above this former RAF Westhampnett airfield. In addition, on the ground there is a concours display of around 30 historic aircraft of all shapes and sizes in the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation. 

Food, fashion and festivities

The Revival is now as famous for its off-track activities as it is for the racing. Wherever you go, you'll see the fashions and hear the music of the era, with plenty of opportunities to dance and get involved. And the fun doesn't stop when the final chequered flag drops. Head 'Over the Road' to find a vintage fairground, roller disco, drive-in movie and lots more period festivities to party the night away. 

Home in time for dinner

By bringing the start of the day forward, it means it is possible to enjoy the best historic racing in the world and still make it home in time for Sunday dinner. Three of the highlight races – the St Marys Trophy, Whitsun Trophy and TT – are all grouped together in the early afternoon, for the convenience of those wanting to make a speedy getaway. Of course, we recommend staying for the whole day, in order not to miss a moment of the action. Those staying to the end can join the Duke of Richmond in congratulating all of the race winners at the Prize Giving at the Startline, with a glass of complimentary champagne!
