What not to wear...
We ask that your sartorial choices are made with care. Guests are discouraged from making controversial uniforms and culturally appropriated items a part of their Revival looks. Everyone should feel welcome and respected at Revival; Goodwood therefore reserves the right to ask visitors who are inappropriately attired to leave the event.

Referencing the sharp tailoring and heritage fabrics of the post-war era as well as the more functional garbs of motor sport heroes, the Revival look is full of elegance, wit and timeless classics.
Best Dressed Competition
Each day at 1500hrs, a panel of fashion experts invites a short-list of guests to appear in the daily Best Dressed show, where we applaud authentic pieces, the stories behind rare or witty looks, and special period details. It’s a magnificent celebration of beautiful vintage clothes, which centres our guests as the stars.

Check your wings
Expert advice on paying tribute to the brave pilots of the era in 1940-45 when Goodwood was known as RAF Westhampnett is firstly to check the wings on your outfit. World War 2 RAF uniforms had the king’s crown on the eagle wing brevet and buttons, as we were in the reign of King George VI. Of course, Goodwood also has its char ladies and Land Girls who each play their part in capturing an heroic chapter in our national history.
Charity shop treasures
If you’re pulling together that scene-stealing outfit, stop by St Wilfrid’s Hospice Retro & Vintage shop on Eastgate Square, Chichester, where you’ll find incredible true vintage pieces. The official charity partner of Revival 2024, St Wilfrid’s Hospice also sells on eBay, Depop, Vinted and their own website so not to worry if you're further afield!
