The 3rd Duke of Richmond first brought horse racing to the Estate in 1802. Now, over 200 years later, the course is celebrated for its unique, relaxed style and exceptional standards of service and quality.
The racecourse can play host to events of all sizes, meaning that it is one of our most versatile venues.

Charlton Stand
Perfect for special parties and larger conferences, the Charlton stand is entirely self contained meaning that your guests have access to private cloakrooms and unrivalled views over the surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty.
Seating parties of between 100 and 250 guests, this stand has two distinct areas which can be used for drinks receptions and meetings. In the summer, your guests can also have exclusive use of the Richmond Lawns for alfresco drinks or dining.
The Sussex Stand
With its large glass front, The Sussex Stand gives fantastic views across the course and is ideal for events with 50 - 60 guests.
Comprising of two seperate areas, this stand also gives you the chance to seperate your meeting area from where you dine. Give your guests the chance to witness a change of scenery and get the full experience that Goodwood Racecourse has to offer.

The Horsewalk
Situated underneath The Charlton Stand, The Horsewalk is a clean, modern and airy space. From seminars and meetings, to celebration dinners and dances, The Horsewalk is suitable for 50 - 200 guests.
This light and spacious restaurant provides a modern British feel and is ideally located for close up views of all horses.
I love training in Box 1 of the Sussex Stand as it is bright, spacious and has all the facilities that are needed for a full day. The view of the racecourse and the Downs is great for inspiring the creatives in a group and the balcony and other boxes are available as break-out rooms or for 1:1 coaching sessions as needed.
