Rimac, the crazy guys from Croatia who came up with the Concept One hypercar, have unveiled the C_Two, an autonomous electric hypercar capable of 258mph. That's every automotive-trend box ticked then. Its four motors, one for each wheel, are apparently capable of unleashing 1,914 horses and 2,300Nm of torque. Which means 0-60mph in under two seconds; plenty for that weekly supermarket trip. To put that in perspective, it's more power than a Bugatti Chiron and Civic Type-R combined.
There's an all-wheel-drive vectoring system to replace ESP which means you can have a rear-biased, drifting car on a track day or a four-wheel-drive road car in slippery conditions.
While they haven't released prices, it's safe to say that if you have to ask, you can't afford. Expect six figures. For that, you get a complete carbonfibre chassis, and the computing power of 22 Macbook Pros, which means it's more than ready for autonomous driving, accompanied by 72 ECUs and copious cameras and sensors.
