Feel every bump and drop as you adventure through rutted off-road tracks in a classic Land Rover from the 1960s. Embrace the bouncy ride and lack of modern technology as you master the challenges of driving an off-road vehicle from over 50 years ago.
Stop for a well-earned buffet-style lunch at the clay shooting lodge, before taking to the clay shooting range situated in a stunning bowl-like arena. Suitable for novices and crack-shots alike, our experienced instructors provide expert tuition based on the level of ability.
Bring four people, and pay only £187.50 per person for a full-day experience.
Your experience includes:
- Explore narrow and tricky trenches, steep descents, challenging inclines and mud traps in a classic Land Rover with up to three friends or family.
- Driving activities including the timber slalom, the axle twist and log bridge. For more information on the activities and vehicles click here.
- Clay shooting across five stands, ten clays per stand.
- Guns, cartridges, tuition, safety wear, Goodwood cap, and clays are all included.
- Morning pastries, tea and coffee and lunch at the Clay Shooting Lodge
- The experience lasts for roughly six hours, with two hours of driving and two hours of clay shooting (50 clays per person). Lunch will last for one hour.
Your own Land Rover
Your voucher or slot booking entitles you to the sole use of a classic Land Rover and personal driving instructor. You will not share the vehicle with any other customers other than the people you bring with you. You are welcome to bring up three guests.
Numbers on the Day
Guests will drive and shoot with the group they have come with and have their own dedicated instructor. The briefing will take place with other participants on the experience.
Availability
The experience is available of select weekends throughout the year.
Participant Guidelines
Drivers must hold a full driving licence which will need to be presented on the day - photocopies will not be accepted. All drivers must have a good understanding of the English language for instruction purposes. All drivers need to be in reasonable health. Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
Child Policy guidelines
This experience is available for people aged 13 and above only, who are accompanied by a Parent or Guardian at all times during the experience.
Weather
This experience may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds). Please call 01243 755055 if in any doubt.
Duration
The experience is 10 am – 4 pm. Arrive at 9:30 am for registration. This will include sign-on, a briefing with your driving and shooting instructor, and approximately two hours of driving time and two hours of clay shooting.
Dress Code
Please wear comfortable footwear and sensible clothing and dress for the weather. Wear flat-soled shoes, flip flops are not permitted. Always ensure shoulders and legs are covered.

Complimentary parking is available at the Clay Shooting Lodge.
Can I bring my own gun?
Yes, participants can bring their own clay shooting gun. However, please let the team know in advance by calling 01243 755055.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Other Info
The vehicles are covered by comprehensive accident insurance but this will not apply if you drive recklessly, dangerously or if you cause damage to yourself or anyone else. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence.

1. Choose an experience and place your order
Browse through our Ultimate Driving experiences or Track Days and find the perfect gift or treat yourself to something you've always wanted to do. Add your gift to the basket and then proceed through our secure checkout. You'll receive an order confirmation at the end of the checkout confirming all your details and what you have purchased. Alternatively, if you want to book a date and time there and then, this can also be done online.
2. Once you receive your voucher
Your gift will be sent within three working days of purchase. Inside you'll find your Goodwood gift voucher which includes a map of the circuit and what you need to bring with you.
3. Book your experience
Please choose a date and time that suits you from the available dates online. Call the Ticket Office on 01243 755055 and make your booking. Your voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of purchase and your voucher must be booked and used within this time.
4. Enjoy your experience
The time has come to enjoy your driving experience. If we are experiencing extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) please do give us a quick call to confirm your experience is still running.
