Those Under-17 can get behind the wheel for the first time at Goodwood Motor Circuit. Start with the Young Driver Learner Experience and progress through three exciting Missions on the Dynamic Training Zone. Receive a Young Driver Log Book to help track development. Once all three missions are complete, juniors can complete the programme with the Young Drivers Graduation Experience which takes place on the 2.4-mile circuit. Please note there are 3 missions available in the Young Driver Learner Experience and each mission costs £149 (all 3 missions and the Graduation experience will cost £596 in total). These will run across 3 separate dates and will take place in the dynamic training zone (off-track).
What’s included:
- Receive one-to-one tuition with an Approved Driving Instructor
- Learn particular skills and manoeuvres
- A Young Driver Log Book
- Tea, coffee and homemade cookies
- The total experience length is one hour, with 50 minutes of driving
- All missions take place in a manual BMW 1 Series on the Dynamic Training Zone
Availability
Available for morning and afternoon slots. Runs at least one date every month throughout the year.
Participant Guidelines
Participants must be at least 1.5 metres tall to drive and be Under-17.
Weather
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call 01243 755055 if in any doubt.
Duration
Expect to be at the venue for one hour which will include a briefing and around 50 minutes of driving time. Arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start time for the essential safety briefing.
Numbers on the Day
All driving time is held on a one-to-one basis with an Approved Driving Instructor. There will be a maximum of four cars on the Dynamic Training Zone at any one time.
Spectators
Family, friends and children are welcome to spectate and can bring a camera to record the experience. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times. The Old Control Tower at the Motor Circuit sells coffees, soft drinks and hot and cold snacks.
Dress Code
Dress warmly and comfortably in trousers and a long-sleeved top. Wear flat-soled shoes. Flip flops and shorts are not permitted on track.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Other Info
The vehicles are covered by comprehensive accident insurance but this will not apply if you drive recklessly, dangerously or if you cause damage to yourself or anyone else. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence.

1. Choose an experience and place your order
Browse through our Ultimate Driving experiences or Track Days and find the perfect gift or treat yourself to something you've always wanted to do. Add your gift to the basket and then proceed through our secure checkout. You'll receive an order confirmation at the end of the checkout confirming all your details and what you have purchased. Alternatively, if you want to book a date and time there and then, this can also be done online.
2. Once you receive your voucher
Your gift will be sent within three working days of purchase. Inside you'll find your Goodwood gift voucher which includes a map of the circuit and what you need to bring with you.
3. Book your experience
Please choose a date and time that suits you from the available dates online. Call the Ticket Office on 01243 755055 and make your booking. Your voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of purchase and your voucher must be booked and used within this time.
4. Enjoy your experience
The time has come to enjoy your driving experience at Goodwood Motor Circuit.
